Trailer: Cloud Atlas (2012)

Synopsis: An exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution.

Starring: Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Susan Sarandon, Hugh Grant

Directors: Tom Tykwer, Andy Wachoswki, Lana Wachowski

Writers: Tom Tykwer, Andy Wachoswki, Lana Wachowski (based on a novel by David Mitchell)

Australian Distributor: Warner Bros

Release Date: tba

Verdict: This is definitely an epic of sorts, maybe not seen since the likes of David Lean epics and Gone with the Wind [main comparison to GWTW comes with the three directors connection]. A hard film to sell, and possibly a hard film to market as well, it will be interesting to see how well Cloud Atlas is received. It’s definitely sparked my attention.
