So, for some reason two Snow White films are coming out in upcoming months. And both films have released trailers within days of each other. Before I go into any crazy observations or generalisations, let me present Exhibit A:

Thankfully, Mirror, Mirror has its US premiere in March ahead of Snow White and the Huntsman‘s June US release. There is a clear difference between dark and playful. There is also a difference between the traditional story we are familiar with, and a strange “untold” story behind the popular fable.
Adding to this, ABC in America just premiered its new series Once Upon a Time, yet another adaptation of the Grimm Brothers story, but in an episodic narrative. How much is enough?
