Oh how I love thee Rakey McRake. We are only two episodes in and I already have wet my pants laughing (bladder leakage is a…
Cleaver’s baaaack….. and he’s not enjoying prison life very much at all. Our poor old Cleave (Richard Roxburgh) has found himself a prison roommate…
This series has been so perfect. Each episode as moving and beautifully written as the last. There isn’t a flaw in sight. Perfect acting. Perfect stories. Perfectly told. It was great to see Ernie Dingo back on television after a long hiatus, he reminded of us of his talent and his on screen presence. Just beautiful. If you have missed this series you must go and buy it on DVD and experience the awesomeness of Redfern Now.
Titled ‘Pokies’ Thursday night’s episode focused on a successful family. Son Joel (Aaron McGrath) is at a private school and succeeding above his age potential, father Eddie (Marly Sharp) is a happy go lucky man who is blessed to have a great family.
Redfern Now is breathtaking and absolutely perfect. It stays with me for days after each episode. Sometimes it brings me to tears when I think about it. So heartbreaking and stories so beautifully told that I can’t find a single fault.
The beautiful singing Detective Jack (Nathan Page) and the wonderful Phryne (Essie Davis) at the piano singing ‘Let’s Misbehave’ was possibly the most awesome thing that has happened on Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries.
Redfern Now is by far the greatest Australian drama ever to have graced our screens. The performances of the two main characters, Justin and Janine, were gripping and never once let us off the hook.
Ahhhhhhhhhh!! Hugh (Hugo Johnstone-Burt) finally proposed to Dotty!! (Ashleigh Cummings) It was so cute! So magical! So sigh worthy. Betty the cat and I were both using the box of tissues, me for tears and Betty as a head rest but I digress…
The word that best represents last night’s episode of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries is ‘awkward’. Now that sexy hot Det. Jack (Nathan Page) has withdrawn from Miss Fisher (Essie Davis), when the two meet on a new case unexpectedly the tension can be cut with a knife.
