So, we bid farewell to the sexiest beard in television history and hope Craig McLachlan gets his gear off in season two as well as continuing to solve murderers in his own unique way. It’s The Power Of Craig (TPOC) that will always win us over in the end.

The story was moving a bit quicker this week in the second last episode of The Doctor Blake Mysteries titled ‘All That Glitters’. It was wonderful to see a very drunk Lucien (Craig McLachlan) tell the whole town what he thought of the visiting British Consul.

Here’s the problem. Doctor Blakes Mysteries needs a good shake up. It’s as stale as Nice biscuit left out overnight. I want to love this show so much. Mclachlan is the best thing in it and on a weekly basis I find myself daydreaming about sexy Lucien and combing his beard as he wears way too many clothes for any woman’s liking.

I made a very odd discovery in this week’s episode of The Doctor Blake Mysteries.  Way back in 1959 the ABC news music is exactly the same as it is today.  Fascinating.

Hurrah! The Power of Craig (TPOC) has finally come to pass! Last night’s episode titled ‘Death of a travelling salesman’ had all the action one could ask for.

Oh, Dr. Blake you are so very clever! Your cleverness is all that is keeping me from getting a teeny bit bored with the second installment of the new ABC murder mystery The Doctor Blake Mysteries. Sexy man and sexy beard? Yes!  Interesting story that keeps me entertained? Not really…. 

I ask but one question to the folks who tuned into The Doctor Blake Mysteries last night: Is it too soon to declare my love for Craig McLachlan? And his sexy neatly shaped beard?

And so it ends.  Cleaver (Richard Roxburgh) singing in his cell waiting to cop a beating from his fellow corrupt inmates.  Poor sad old Cleave.  After trying to get his manslaughter charge hiked up to a murder charge, making it more likely to get off, he forgot about the old ‘conspiracy to commit murder’ charge that, in the end, was [...]

Just when we thought that Kath and Kim’s Sandy Freckle (William McInnes) took out the greatest name title on Australian television the genius that is writer Andrew Knight came up with super crook Lane Hole (Phil Lloyd).  Yes.  Lane Hole.  He is exactly what you would think a Lane Hole would be too.  A real jerk.

Only Cleaver Green (Richard Roxburgh) could defend Alex Alford (Stephen Curry) an I.T nerd accused of drugging his neighbour, cutting off his penis and tying off the wound to stop the man bleeding to death.
